Travel KAUAI HAWAII on a Budget : 6 Days in Paradise

After landing an AMAZING flight deal to Kauai, we planned our trip on a strict budget. And I was stoked to share that YOU CAN spend six days in paradise without breaking the bank.

With a little ingenuity and flexibility we were able to have an incredible adventure! And even treated ourselves to a fancy night out with friends.

Its hard to NOT have a great time then visiting sunny Hawaii.. I mean, come on! Ocean air, sunshine, lush tropical forest, sunrise yoga on an exclusive beach??!! It doesn’t get a whole lot better if you ask me.

Here is the full breakdown of our budget:
* Airfare $200x2 = $400 (-flyer miles) = $200
* Rental Car $690
* Kumu Camp $40
* Kalalau Trail Permits $160 + Parking $40 = $200
* Hotel + Complimentary Wine $600
* Food $684.78/ 6 days = $114/ day
* Gas + Airport Parking $123
* Weimea Canyon State Park $25
* Camp Fuel $11
* Hanalei SUP & Kayak $100
Total Trip Cost = $2672 !!!

Not bad for 6 days in a Hawaiian Paradise
