You’re in luck if you came to Lahaina for the beaches. Kanapali Beach is gorgeous and full of activities to keep you occupied, and Napali Beach has gentler waters for snorkelers.

There are also several parks in Lahaina for you to enjoy. Banyan Tree State Park is one of the best with its giant Banyan tree that takes up acres of land and looks like an entire forest on its own. You can also picnic amongst the green grass of Launiupokoo State Park or see the turtles at Wahilukui Wayside Park.

Visiting Lahaina will help you explore the culture of Hawaii. Celebrate the influence of Japanese plantation workers at the Jodo Mission. Experience more of the history of Hawaii at the Baldwin Home Museum.

You can also watch the Old Lauhaina Luau or the Myths of Maui Luau show. These combination show/feasts are one of the most enduring Hawaiian traditions and are worth seeing for yourself.

The Hawaiian islands are known for their food, and visiting a delicious restaurant like the Mahi Grill is one of the best things to do in Lahaina.
