‘IT’S COLD’- Surfing, Snowboarding and cold water swimming in SCOTLAND 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🏄🏼‍♀️

We headed up to Scotland in search of empty waves and some of the coldest swim spots the uk has to offer and it’s safe to say WE SCORED in every area!

Growing up In the uk I always felt like the cold was my worst enemy haha oh if 12 year old Laura could see me now!

After travelling the world with competitive Surfing and living in some of the most tropical destinations in the world I found my self yearning for the icy waters of the Atlantic.

After retiring from surfing due to mental health I had some time to really reconnect with the true version of my self.
With many ups and downs and huge pot holes in the road I found my self finding a love / obsession with Cold water and all its benefits.

As any recovery, Its never Linear but I do know one thing hard times make the strongest people, challenge yourself often to break the walls down in your head before they get too high.

Some of our biggest lessons lie behind the things we resist 💜
