Hurricane Erin grazed us just off the North Carolina coast... sending large waves into the Outer Banks, causing damaging ocean overwash in the town of Buxton, NC. Here I take you through the day by day as our island got battered by the storm surf. I break down the different aspects of the tide cycles, and lay of the land in relation to the overwash event. It's a long play because its mostly RAW Video... It's meant to be skippable and watchable by Chapters however you desire. Hopefully it gives a good glimpse into the reality that storms like this on the Island are a nuisance, but not life threatening...
