This is the 6th of my 7-part Hawaii travel vlog series. This vlog chronicles my sixth day exploring the island of Oahu.
Today, we’re headed to the North Shore for a day of pure bliss. First up, we hit up Haleiwa Bowls where we indulged in the tastiest acai bowls on the island. Next, we took in the breathtaking views at Haleiwa Beach Park and Laniakea Beach, where we felt the salty breeze and watched the waves crash in. Then we made our way to Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck to savor the legendary garlic butter shrimp. We couldn’t leave the North Shore without getting our hands on some Matsumoto Shaved Ice, known for the best shave ice in Hawaii. Our next stop, Waimea Bay Beach, left us in awe with its gigantic waves and served as the venue for the world-renowned Eddy Surfing competition. Unfortunately, I lost my sunglasses to the powerful waves here! After a quick beach hop to Sunset Beach, we finished off our day at Ko Olina Beach Resort. I can’t get enough of this place, where I can let loose and have some fun in the sun like a kid again. What better way to wrap up this epic day than with a stunning Hawaiian sunset?

P.S. I used to call this channel “Behold Adventures,” but an idea came to mind while editing this video. I’ve always wanted a word to describe that feeling of excitement to travel and explore the world, hence the inception of “The Stoked Explorer.” Hope you like it! Let’s CARPE that DIEM! Peace!
