We walk along the street watching surf lessons in front of a surf shop, cross the street and quickly head to Cove Beach Park to watch the beginning surfers take lessons on the shore and in the water. We follow a group four into the shoreline surf for instructions.

It's a beautiful morning in paradise, with deep blue sky and clear ocean water. In the distance we see surfer on the water waiting for waves. We listen to lessons along the sidewalk and in the ocean. It feels like we are taking our own lessons while on our vacation to the tropical island of Maui.

There is people in the park watching, but all our attention is on the people taking surfing and stand-up board lessons. The sounds of surf and people talking is relaxing.
