Summary:
Big waves and bumpy conditions, had to fight some sea sickness but arrived at a productive day with 3 ukus, one of my favorite fish to eat! Bait has been plentiful, hopefully the pelagics follow real soon!

Kayak: 2014 Hobie Mirage Pro Angler 14
Fish Finder: Garmin Echomap Plus 64CV (https://a.co/d/7pXJpP7)
Main and backup rods: Silver Hook 6'6" Medium Heavy, Shimano Trevala 5'8" Extra Heavy
Bait rod: Shimano Grappler Type J (it was for my old conventional depth counter reel, but I swill use it with a spinner, probably why the line makes noise when I reel it in)
Reels: Shimano SpeedMaster 25ii (https://a.co/d/8EkZHpP), Penn Squal 50LD (aka “the lucky reel” https://a.co/d/4e1nOBL), Shimano Stella SW 5000 (Bait Reel https://a.co/d/1o3UXaC), Penn Spinfisher VI 8500 (Hilo Main Reels https://a.co/d/9ES1yQQ), Shimano TwinPower 5000 (Hilo Bait Reel https://a.co/d/4nPNush).
Line and terminal tackle: 65-80 lb PowerPro (https://a.co/d/bvOGdsx), 40/50/60lb J-Line Fluorocarbon, 40-55lb AFW wire leader.
Owner Tournament Mutu 4/0 circle hooks (Tokunagas), Gamakatsu 4/0 & 5/0 live bait hooks, Diablo or VMC 2/0 inline hooks for stinger when using wire (hifishgear.com BKK Lone Diablo Inline Hook — HiFishGear).
Damashi: Homemade using line between 12-16lb, typically J-Flouro Samurai. I typically tie my own flies. When using lures, I like Tylah lures or CHL Nox Minnows, both with gold hooks and a red bead, very effectiveness and highly recommend them. (Tylahlures.com and chlures.com and check out my buddy (Geronimo Angeles | Facebook) for those BiteLytes!
Camera: GoPro Hero 8 Black, GoPro Hero 9 Black
Note: I link the amazon links for ease of finding products and ease or purchase/delivery, but I highly recommend shopping at your local fishing stores and support them (like www.hawaiinearshorefishing.com or www.hifishgear.com).
