Our goal for this trip was to hike and see as much of the Big Island as possible so we rented a camper van from Dug with Big Island Campers. Van life in Hawaii was the best decision for us!! It was convenient and allowed us so much freedom to stay as long or short as we wanted in each location. We hiked a total of 183 miles during our 14 day stay on the Big Island.
