A series of big winter swells pounded Oahu's north shore covering much of the island with heavy sea mist. Most of the coast was unsurfable this morning 12/29/23 except for Haleiwa which produced some fair to good though jumbled surf. Good enough for a go at the 52nd Hale'iwa International Open. Shooting from the 8am start to just after 10am.
