I share the details of the top 4 beginner surf spots we found on our last trip to the big island of Hawaii. Remember to always respect the locals where ever you paddle out, and respect the land and ocean as well. I hope you're able to paddle out and catch a lot of fun waves on your next trip to Hawaii.

Always check with the lifeguards or locals about a particular surf spot and know your limits. Surf breaks can be drastically different depending on the direction and size of a particular swell. Have fun and be safe.
