Ala Moana Bowls (May 3, 2023) First Real SW Swell! 4K

There was a lot of hype over this "First real SW swell of the 2023 South Shore Season (SSW-S)" as we watched Teahupo'o 3,080 miles Southwest of Hawaii absolutely firing 4 days before. Surfline had updated their surf report forecast showing 5-7ft faces for both Wednesday and Thursday on Oahu's South Shore. Even though Waikiki was firing by afternoon, bowls was a blown out mess! All of that started to change around 5:30pm as the wind died down giving Bowls a smoother shape. All of the boys were hungry for some South Shore action including a number of pros who mixed in with the local regulars in the line up.

If you're not a fan of electronic music, you don't need to complain to us about it. Just hit the mute button and play your own music to it, that works too 🤙🏽.
It's not an easy thing catering to everyone's personal preference of music when it comes to surf videos especially when you are limited to only using non-copyright music.

Regarding Requesting Raw Clips:
Please don't bother us about sending you raw clips unless you're willing to pay for them. Surf photographers have to make a living too especially trying to pay off the equipment we invested in to get your awesome clips in the first place. We're extremely busy and you are basically paying photographers for their time because it's a task to prepare raw clips and email them out. You can dm us on instagram regarding that stuff.

Social Media Etiquette:
If you use a photographer's media without their knowledge and don't tag them or give them the credit they deserve, that's stealing and messed up. Be grateful for your clips and do the right thing Aloha.
