1) Find a real estate agent
This agent can be any person that you pick obviously you wanna pick someone that is knowledgeable about the market has some experience someone that you can trust. Once you get your real estate agent you can meet with them and talk to them you're gonna tell them all of your wants and needs

2) Get Preapproved with Loan officer
Do this before seeing any homes in person because you don't wanna waste time. Getting preapproved takes time you know like you need to get all your documents to the lender they need to analyze it crunch numbers before they can see what price range you can qualify for

3) Browse for homes online
This is where you spend time on your computer. Now when you're browsing for homes online remember to keep in mind of your wants vs needs. Just understand that you may have a bunch of checkboxes that you have for in a home…but don’t expect to find THE perfect home that checks off all your boxes.

4) See Homes in person
You might see a home online and it looks super nice and has great staging and lighting and all of that but when you go see it in person it kinda looks like shit that is definitely a possibility. If you're buying home for the first time obviously you're probably buying this to live in and if you're buying something to live in you definitely wanna see how it is in person and you don't wanna buy it site unseen

5) Submitting An Offer
This is where the negotiation begins. Negotiation is basically fair game it's whatever you and the seller can agree on.

6) Begin Escrow Process
The escrow process this usually takes about 30 to 45 days. This is the time for you as the buyer to do your due diligence this is where you have your home inspection termite inspections appraisals ordering condo docs if needed.

7) Close and move In
Congratulations you are officially a homeowner you can do whatever you want throw party throw a housewarming party
