In this video, I’m breaking down the REAL pros and cons of living in Ewa Beach, Hawaii.

Ewa Beach has become one of Oahu's most popular areas for people looking for newer homes and more space for their money. Communities such as Hoopili, Hoakalei, and Ocean Pointe offer single-family homes, townhomes, condos, parks, recreation areas, and community amenities.

But Ewa Beach isn't perfect. I'll also show you the things you need to consider before buying a home here, including smaller lots, warmer weather, higher AC usage, community association fees, plane noise, and long commute times to Honolulu.

If you're relocating to Hawaii, PCS-ing to Hawaii, or considering a military relocation to Oahu, I hope this video helps you decide whether Ewa could be the right fit for you and your family.

Quick note: I use the word “Ewa” throughout this video instead of “Ewa Beach.” That’s intentional. I’m talking about the broader Ewa area, including communities like Hoopili, Hoakalei, and Ocean Pointe—not just the specific Ewa Beach neighborhood.
