She advises people to make sure they have their own bags, which can be bought for a dollar at the store. Hawaii is serious about limiting plastic on the island, so shopping bags are not given away.

Jazz Nicole advises people to note that many things cannot be shipped to Hawaii, such as toxic materials like certain types of nail polish remover and lash glue. She also notes that Hawaii has a different law regarding the tint percentage on car windows. In Hawaii, the windows cannot be more than 35% tinted, which is much different than the mainland tint laws. This can stop you from being able to pass your emissions, which will stop you from being able to get your car registered and get your license plates.
