365 Hawaii goes to Ironman World Championship 2023- Kailua Kona

Ironman takes over Kailua Kona when a few thousand athletes and their families come to town for this exciting triathlon. This year, on October 14th, 2023, we show you how Ironman brings "Big City to Small Town" for a few days AND show you the highlights of the race.
We arrived to the start line at 6:15 am, show you the cannon go off and the swim portion and then we got out on the course to show you the bike and run courses and women athletes. We captured the 2023 winner crossing the finish line AND show you some of the ways that Ironman changes the flavor of Kona while in town. What a day!
