With equal parts city life and endless beaches, Oahu is my go-to recommendation whenever anyone asks me which island to visit first!

The Waikiki Beach Walk is an amazing pathway along the beautiful Waikiki Beach. There are many resorts, eateries and fun things to do along this walk.

Diamond Head Trail is one of the most rewarding Oahu hikes, offering amazing 360-degree views when you reach the top.

The Ho'omaluhia botanical gardens are nestled just south of the Ko'olau mountains on the windward side of Oahu in Kane'ohe.

The Byodo-In Temple is a non-denominational Buddhist temple located on the island of Oʻahu in Hawaiʻi in Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.

The Nuuanu Pali Lookout is one of the most scenic spots on Oahu and offers great views of the windward coast including Kailua and Kaneoha Bay.

When you are on vacation at Oahu and visit the Pearl Harbor, you get the opportunity to learn more about the events that unfolded on December 7, 1941. Spend the day visiting the most important historical sites and landmarks of Honolulu, Hawaii.
