This is the 3rd of my 7-part Hawaii travel vlog series. This vlog chronicles my third day exploring the island of Oahu.

I started the day heading to the historic Pearl Harbor. My first stop was Leonard’s Bakery. This is an iconic spot in Hawaii for food enthusiasts. I got myself some malasadas (fried Portuguese donuts). I drove straight to Pearl Harbor and ate the malasadas at the parking lot. It was a treat indeed. Admission to Pearl Harbor is free. However, you’ll need a ticket reservation (with a fee) if you’d like to visit USS Arizona (which is a must). Fret not if you forgot to make a reservation. You may wait in line (for a couple of minutes depending on the crowd) to still get the chance to hop on the boat that transports you to and fro the USS Arizona Memorial.

The second stop was Green World Coffee Farm. This was an interesting part of the trip because it was my first time to see how coffee is grown and processed. (Fun Fact: Hawaii is the only state in the US that grows coffee!) You don’t need to buy to taste their world class coffee. They give you a free cup of your choice. Since I’m in Hawaii, I decided to treat myself with their Macadamia Nut flavored coffee. It was the best!

The third stop was DOLE Pineapple Plantation. Upon arrival, I immediately treated myself with the world famous DOLE WHIP because why not. I also got myself a cool hat to add to my hat collection.

The fourth stop was Ko Olina Beach Resort. I was supposed to head straight to Diamond Head State Monument, but I realized I haven’t had beach dip yet. A day is not over without a quick beach dip when you’re in Hawaii. So I made a quick trip to Ko Olina Beach Park.

The fifth stop was Diamond Head State Monument. I initially wanted to do this popular trail in Oahu before sunrise, but I am not a morning person when on vacation. This is a must-do activity when you’re in Oahu. The Diamond Head (Le’ ahi) summit offers panoramic views of the Honolulu Skyline.

To cap the day off, I headed straight to Waikiki Beach to enjoy the world’s most famous sunset spectacle.

P.S. I used to call this channel “Behold Adventures,” but an idea came to mind while editing this video. I’ve always wanted a word to describe that feeling of excitement to travel and explore the world, hence the inception of “The Stoked Explorer.” Hope you like it! Let’s CARPE that DIEM! Peace!
