Episode 45 - A visit to the Huron Island Lighthouse, located in the Huron National Wildlife Refuge, 3 miles off shore in Marquette County. A visit to Lighthouse Island is worth the boat ride to see this rugged, historic island chain. The Huron Island Lighthouse Preservation Association is hard at work restoring the historic lighthouse buildings and the trails were being cleared while I was there.
